Yes! And it's so internalized that we end up gaslighting ourselves: I shouldn't complain. I should be happy. I shouldn't be so anxious. I should be happy. It could be worse, I should be grateful... If you're not careful, you SHOULD yourself right into a depression. (been there, done that, writing the book)
